To become a member on our information list (not a discussion group), please send a message with the subject "Subscribe" and your name and country of origin in the main body. You can do this at the Updates/Feedback Menu. Individual e-mail addresses will be released on a personal basis, depending on time constraints and material discussed. We only accept technical corrections, new information (new articles that we might consider worth publishing) and specific questions with reference to the text (that we may or may not be in a position to answer; although we will try to do our best). We shall contact you if we deem it necessary but please do not necessarily expect a reply because the amount of feedback we receive tends to be very large. We will do our best to reply to you as soon as possible. We are lay people with some help from priests, so please do not address us with "evlogeite". Please do not send praises but only your blessings, if you are Orthodox priests, for our endeavour. While we are aware of our spiritually sinful situation, and we agree with all the accusations on us, we do not however treat lightly mails that blaspheme against Orthodoxy, speak harshly against the Holy Elders of the Holy Mountain and so forth. Those who speak thus insult us for they insult members of our extended family, people of blessedness, and of course the Saints, Mother Virgin and Christ Himself, the Head of the Church. We ask that such people do not write to us. If you are against Orthodox monasticism you are in the wrong website.

This web page is maintained by P. Spanos and other lay members under the Church of Greece which is one of the autocephalous Churches of Eastern Orthodoxy. Many other people (priestmonks, priests, lay theologians) have helped to make this web page a reality. This material is for general viewing however please contact us if you wish to quote part of this material in an essay or other thesis. Without consent it is strictly forbidden for someone to quote anything in a written article. This is in part because there might be other references we need to refer the reader to.

The name of the person(s) registered with the registrant authorities do not necessarily imply affiliation with the views put forward by the authors of this web page. These people simply provide monetary help for the web hosting of this site.

For obvious security reasons we cannot divulge any information on who the people who work on this web page are. However we believe we should make it very clear that: a.) the actual authors do not live at the ICANN-registered address; b.) the resident(s) of said address (which has changed over the years) is/are in no control of this site and does not/do not provide any input whatsoever to the site, and c.) for legal purposes the authorised registered persons can contact us.

All this is for the glory of God. We do not ask for money, have hidden agendas or try to convert anyone through illicit means (proselytization). We simply write a few words and pray that God helps the reader.

In what follows we only cite some of our main bibliography. Entries in bold come very highly recommended. However, this bibliography is not meant to be suggestive. On the contrary, it also includes books we happened to refer to that contain significant theological errors (a [not recommended] warning is added next to these). Books that do not come as highly recommended may be so for various reasons: because we feel the material might be too advanced or specialised for the casual reader, or because it is decent but contains some well-meaning errors that need to be addressed etc.. However, these are all decent references and even the "not recommended" include useful material for those who are careful. We will include a separate section in the near future where we will list suggested material. Ultimately, this will include the work of pious theologians, God-bearing Fathers and other such blessed people whose life has been a shining lamp  and will immensely benefit the reader.
